2008 Mule Deer Winner

I wanted to say thank you to Arizona Game and Fish and the volunteers from the Arizona Big Game Super Raffle for giving me the opportunity to hunt the once in a lifetime hunt for mule deer in Arizona for 365 days out of the year. I never thought it could or would happen to me, but then, I received the phone call from you, Chris Denham, and I was in utter amazement!! I couldn't believe that I had won a tag like that.
  
So then the hunt was on. I called my brother, Mark Elliott, and asked him if he was ready to go mule deer hunting and he said let's go. We spent many days in the desert glassing and passing on many nice mule deer, so we decided to head to the Kaibab in September. At that time, we saw 70 deer, but nothing to our liking. We then decided to plan another hunt in December during the rut, and that sure paid off for us.  Day 1 we saw some really nice deer and decided to pass on them. Day 2 we glassed and glassed and then we finally found a really nice shooter.
